Why Fountain Hills’ ICE cooperation resolution matters

OPINION — As vice mayor of Fountain Hills and a former state legislator, I've always focused on solving real problems — both immediate and looming. That's why I drafted and championed our town's resolution to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

This is not about politics; it's about protecting our community from violent, criminal illegal aliens who threaten public safety. We must keep our neighborhoods safe!

Fountain Hills is a peaceful haven, but we can't ignore the broader crisis at our borders. Nationwide, ICE has deported thousands involved in serious crimes, from drug trafficking to assault. By pledging cooperation, we're ensuring federal agents can enforce immigration laws here without local roadblocks.
