Weekly report on Sheriff’s responses for Fountain Hills

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, April 24, through Wednesday, April 30.

Thursday, April 24

*A resident of the 14000 block of Del Cambre Avenue reported a violation of a court order.

Friday, April 25

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported an unknown subject was leaving dog food mixed with broken glass in the parking lot of a business, possibly in an attempt to harm coyotes in the area.

*A resident of the 17000 block of La Pasada Drive reported an unknown subject damaged the victim’s mailbox by hitting it with a vehicle. The victim did not wish to aid in prosecution.

*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speeding on Shea Boulevard at Fountain Hills Boulevard. The driver was reportedly traveling 86 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Acacia Way reported an unknown subject fraudulently accessed the victim’s bank account and transferred money to another account that was also fraudulently created with the victim’s personal information without their permission.

*A resident of the 18000 block of Blue Sky Drive reported an unknown subject fraudulently accessed the victim’s bank account and transferred money without permission.

Saturday, April 26

*Deputies responded to the area of Palomino Boulevard and Bucking Bronco Way where it was reported an unknown driver struck an unoccupied parked vehicle and fled the area without reporting the incident.

*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Panorama Drive for a reported single-vehicle traffic collision. Deputies are reporting the driver looked away from the roadway to check their cellphone, causing them to drive into the center median and strike a tree. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed. The driver was cited.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. for a report of a domestic violence assault incident. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Del Cambre Ave. where it was reported a minor child assaulted another minor child by hitting them at a playground.

Sunday, April 27

*Deputies responded to Saguaro and Grande boulevards where a single-vehicle traffic collision occurred. According to deputies, a driver made an improper turn and struck a utility box. The driver then fled the area without reporting the incident.

Monday, April 28

*A resident of the 15000 block of Echo Hill Drive reported an unknown subject made death threats to the victim via an online forum.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains after receiving a report an unknown subject exited a vehicle and engaged in a verbal argument with the complainant after the complainant had yelled something at the vehicle for committing a traffic infraction.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 Glenbrook Blvd. after receiving a call for service. Deputies made contact with an individual in the area, and a records check revealed the subject had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The subject was arrested on the warrant and booked into jail.

Wednesday, April 30

*The Town of Fountain Hills is reporting Fountain Hills Fire Department responded to the parking lot of the Civic Center at 3 a.m. after receiving a report of childbirth. The baby was born at the scene and transported to a hospital.
