Weekly report of MCSO calls in Fountain Hills

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 based in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, June 5 through Wednesday, June 11.

Thursday, June 5

*A resident of the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive reported that an unknown subject posed as a member of Apple customer service in an attempt to defraud the victim out of money.

*Deputies made a traffic stop for criminal speed on Shea Boulevard at 136th Street. According to deputies the driver was traveling 91 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and La Montana Drive for a reported traffic collision. Deputies reported a driver failed to yield while making a left turn and was struck by a vehicle in the roadway. One driver was transported for medical care. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

*A resident in the area of Palomino Boulevard and Winchester Drive reported that a subject threatened the victim over the phone and via text message. A valid order of protection was in place between the two parties.

*A resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd reported a domestic violence assault incident.

Friday, June 6

*A resident of the 17000 block of Cyprus Point Court reported that an unknown subject sent the victim threatening text messages.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Pincushion Way reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s credit card without permission to make unauthorized purchases.

Saturday, June 7

*Deputies responded to Avenue of the Fountains and Palisades Boulevard for a reported single vehicle traffic collision. According to deputies, a driver left the roadway and struck a landscaping boulder. Deputies contacted the driver and initiated a DUI investigation. The driver was issued a criminal citation for DUI.

*A resident reported a violation of a court order.

Sunday, June 8

*A resident of the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive reported a violation of a court order.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle in a business parking lot. The driver then fled the area without exchanging information or reporting the collision. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.

Monday, June 9

*Deputies received a report of possible sexual assault. The case forwarded to SVU Detectives for follow up.

Tuesday, June 10

*Deputies received a report that an unknown subject damaged the victim’s vehicle by slashing the tires while parked in a residential parking lot.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Parlin Drive reported an unwanted guest. Deputies say the complainant did not want to aid in prosecution or to have the subject trespassed from the property.

Wednesday, June 11

*A resident of the 17000 block of Valloroso Drive reported that an unknown subject is using the victim’s business name without permission to fraudulently gain customers.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Bayfield Drive reported a domestic violence assault incident. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
