We need to tone down political rhetoric

If ever there was a time that demanded less political potshots, it is now.

The killing of Charlie Kirk reached the pinnacle of evil. I see his killing as political terrorism for just speaking words. Words are powerful.

Sherri James' last letter had a statement aimed at the mayor and council which did not tell the whole story. The town's retirement plan is not totally self-funded. She did not mention the town benefit programs matches 11%; the plan is very generous.
