What the Trump/Musk administration has done in their first weeks in office is terrifying and must be stopped. None should be surprised, however, since the plans were detailed in Project 2025 — you know, the document Harris and Walz warned us about but which Trump continually denied knowledge of?
The list of illegal, unconstitutional and devastating actions Trump has taken is enormous, but the worst was willingly giving unelected, totally unvetted, Musk, and his minions of teen-aged hackers, unrestricted access to everything in our government, including the Treasury, which contains all information regarding every citizen. With access to our Social Security numbers, medical histories, bank accounts, etc. and possessing hacking abilities, they can easily do whatever they want with the info — just write a code!
Federal employees are investigated before they’re allowed access to classified information for a reason. Trump ignored and circumvented rules once again, putting us all at great risk.
Trump’s executive orders are disastrous for our country but Putin and Xi are probably ecstatic. Cutting funding for USAID cruelly halted vital programs providing food, water, medicine, housing and education for children at home and abroad and stopped research into cures for serious diseases likely to become future pandemics. Cutting USAID leaves a vacuum in developing countries that our enemies are ready to fill. In addition, cuts are devastating to our farmers who sell their grain to this program — grain which is currently rotting at the ports. Shameful when people are starving.
Mass deportations won’t help our prices nor our security — just the opposite. Trump’s plans to own Gaza, turning it into a beachfront resort, only encourages recruiting for ISIS. Trump has alienated friends and enemies alike and we’re currently much less safe and woefully understaffed due to his vengeful firings.
Call Congress! Oppose this government coup! Courageously fight back!
