Vote for three

We have an important choice to make for the future of our beautiful home. Please consider voting for Henry Leger, Alan Magazine and Nick DePorter.

Henry has been a very thoughtful and effective two-term councilman, while Alan and Nick have proven their devotion to the community with selfless service on the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission.

None of these candidates have partisan or otherwise ideological agendas. They will make fair and fact-based decisions for the benefit of the entire community as best they can.

Lina Bellenir, who has run and lost in the past, has been speaking in what I consider catch phrases that are unrelated to local issues but resonate in some arenas. She and many of her supporters actively joined the failed recall efforts against Henry and me, called us disrespectful names, and continue even now to accuse him and the council of patently false activity.

They talk of the Constitution and ethics with exclusive ownership, yet advocate for schemes that potentially benefit select interests at a cost to taxpayers, plans which, by the way, have been fully vetted and rejected.

Her campaign, unfortunately, has reinforced her previous negative behavior with no indication of partnership or good faith; she disparages her possible council colleagues at every turn.

I believe Fountain Hills citizens are not interested in witnessing week after week of divisive, ego-driven meetings and articles for the next four years. Many of us love our town, raised our families and have lived here for decades, making life-long friends.

I hope you will agree that Alan, Henry and Nick are the best choices for Fountain Hills.
