Political campaign season is well under way, and primary voting is about to begin later this week.
We in America have the wonderful privilege and important responsibility of voting. It has been fought for by many generations of Americans. Many have died to defend this privilege, this right. The right to vote is something not enjoyed by people in many other countries around the world.
It’s our obligation to invest some time and energy, learn all that we can about the candidates and the issues, and use that knowledge to carefully consider the choices and cast an educated vote.

From the local to the national level, we each have only one vote, but as we have seen in recent years, it is often only a small number of votes that determine the outcome of an election.
Please take the time, make the effort, honor the sacrifices, and vote.
