Volunteers keep the water flowing at the River of Time Museum. Curious about the opportunities available?

We invite you to a coffee on Thursday, Feb. 4, at 10 a.m. at the museum which is located in the Library/Museum building. Come and meet our enthusiastic volunteers, enjoy a tour, have some refreshments and check on all the possibilities.

We have opportunities to work both behind the scenes and with the visiting public.

From big events like the Holiday Mart to the more intimate Theater Thursdays, the River of Time hosts a wide variety of activities that entertain, educate and bring in revenue.

Event planners identify and allocate resources, find speakers or entertainers, plan menus and coordinate sales, raffles and auctions.

Working on exhibits includes organizing and identifying items in the collections, assisting in the design of new displays, helping with maintenance and repair and rotating artifacts and activities on the floor.

You can lead tours and/or greet visitors, take admissions or sell memberships and merchandise in the museum store. Or, if you are interested in marketing, we need help writing press releases and building content for our social media and website.
