Volleyball plays Thursday, football and cross country this weekend

Volleyball - After besting Coolidge the night before, the high school volleyball squad had a tough go on the road Wednesday evening, losing three close matches in a row; 25-18, 25-22, 25-13. The team will be back in front of the hometown crowd Thursday evening to welcome Saguaro at 6 p.m. in the high school gym.

Football - The football team will be on the road this week, set to take on Coolidge Friday evening, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m.

Cross Country - The cross country team will host its first event of the season on Saturday, Sept. 21, with 25 teams expected to hit the course wrapping around Fountain Park. The first race in this big event is set to begin at 8 a.m.
