The high school volleyball team made some pretty short work out of the visiting team from Estrealla Foothills Tuesday evening, Sept. 24, going on to win three games in a row, 3-0.

The Falcons were a little shaky in game one, taking some time to find their groove before going on to claim a 25-18 win. The local ladies came back in the second firing on all cylinders, easily jumping out to a 10 point lead before racing on to claim win number two at 25-10. The Falcons started the third game strong, too, but once again struggled with some poor execution and small mistakes at the midway point, allowing Estrella Foothills to claw their way back into the competition. The Fountain Hills squad righted their ship as Estrella narrowed the gap, however, going on a solid run to finish out the game 25-18.

The volleyball season continues on the road Thursday evening, Sept. 26, when the Falcons head to Tempe Prep for a 6 p.m. match-up.
