Volleyball
With only a week to go in the regular season the high school volleyball team had little trouble making short work of the visitors from Cortez Thursday evening, as the Falcons went on to win the match three games in a row. The local ladies jumped out to an early lead in each of the three games and had little trouble holding on to the momentum as they raced ahead to a quick victory. The Falcons bested Cortez 25-9 in game one, 25-14 in game two and 25-11 in game three.

The Falcons will have their work cut out for them this week, set to play host to the team from Show Low Friday evening at 7 p.m. The Falcons are coming off of a 42-14 loss at Snowflake last week, currently holding a season record of 4-3.
