Paul Heintz takes over as volunteer coordinator

From one Paul to another, the Vitalant blood drives in Fountain Hills welcomes its new volunteer coordinator.

After nearly two decades of coordinating blood drives with the Noon Kiwanis Club, Paul Appeldorn passed the torch to Paul Heintz.

Heintz is a native New Yorker, competitive runner and former rugby player. For 11 years Heintz owned and operated a running and triathlon store in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he served as a certified race director and Ironman coach for athletes. He has run 38 marathons and four Ironmans.
