Foster Your Future soars with recent donation

Dwight Johns of the Verne C. Johnson Family Foundation recently presented Foster Your Future CEO Ginny Paulsen and COO Jennifer Doran-Pena with a fourth annual donation of $25,000.

Johnson met with them to review the nonprofit’s successes with the increased funding. “Foster Your Future, a nonprofit organization that is based in Fountain Hills, has impacted 18-year-olds (and older) previous foster children for the past 10+ years,” said Johnson. “It was heartwarming to observe the passion and drive Ms. Paulsen and Ms. Doran-Pena have put into this program.

“After going over their extensive business plan and financials, this was an easy decision to continue our financial support.”

According to Paulsen, Foster Your Future has over 60 volunteer/mentors trained and in place to serve 40 young adults who are presently in the program.

“I continue to be amazed by the generosity of individuals and organizations in our beautiful Town of Fountain Hills,” Paulsen said. “So many community members give freely of their time and financial support to do such great things for those in need.”
