Verdes Art League to host patio tour

The Verdes Art League invites friends and neighbors to enjoy a self-guided tour of eight Tonto Verde home patios where 27 Art League members will display their work and demonstrate their techniques.
Visit all the patios at one’s leisure and experience art demonstrations, interactive exhibits and samples of a wide variety of work by Verde artists.
No reservations are needed for the Patio Tour. The map for the free self-guided tour is posted on the Verdes Art League website - verdesartleague.org. Hardcopies are available for pick up from the literature rack in the Rio Verde Community Center lobby.
Patio hosts are Jennie Becker, Patricia Franklin, Anita Kempers, Kathy Morgan, Michele Mulleady, Chris Demma, Lisa Minne and Jacki Westbay. Start the tour at any one of the patio sites on the map.
The Art Tour will conclude with an After Tour Party from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Tonto Verde Clubhouse. There will be a wine tasting and music by the Doc of Rock. There will also be a raffle of donated works by VAL artists. Entry to the After Party is by purchased ticket only; cost is $15. For tickets call Joanne Conway at 503-502-3144. The Hidden in Tonto Art Tour is open to residents of Rio Verde and Tonto Verde.
