Verde women’s team tennis season update

Two teams competed

The Tennis Club at Rio Verde fielded two women’s tennis teams over the past season that competed in leagues across the Valley.

The Viva la Verdes Tennis Team played in the ATA (Arizona Tennis Association) Fantastic 50’s League in the 3.5 division. This team’s travel included play in Glendale, Anthem and Fountain Hills. The team played 16 matches and finished in third place.

The Rio Racquets Tennis Team played in the Valley of the Sun 50+ League, 3.5 division. They had a great year playing most of their games on Rio Verde and Mesa courts. They played 16 matches and finished in fourth place.
