The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following incidents during the week from Thursday, Dec. 26, through Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Friday, Dec. 27
*A resident of the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. reported that an unknown subject attempted to steal a vehicle that was parked in a carport causing damage to the steering column of the vehicle.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 based in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following incidents during the week from Thursday, Dec. 26, through Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Friday, Dec. 27
*A resident of the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. reported that an unknown subject attempted to steal a vehicle that was parked in a carport causing damage to the steering column of the vehicle.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject attempted to steal a vehicle that was parked in a parking lot. The window was broken and there was damage to the steering column of the vehicle.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject stole a vehicle which had been parked in a parking lot.
*A driver was arrested following a traffic incident involving an MCSO deputy at Fountain Hills Boulevard and Ironwood Drive. MCSO is reporting that a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and nearly collided with a marked MCSO vehicle. The deputy initiated a traffic stop. Deputies reported that the driver of the vehicle failed to provide identification to the deputy and did not verbally provide an accurate name to the deputy. The driver was arrested and booked into jail due to their refusal to provide their identifying information.
*A resident of the 13000 block of Daniel Drive reported that an unknown subject stole an item from the front porch of a residence. Deputies said the victim did not wish to aid in prosecution.
Saturday, Dec. 28
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an employee at a business threatened to assault a customer after a verbal altercation. The employee was issued a criminal citation, and the parties were separated.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a subject was trespassed from a business.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported that a subject threatened to assault their roommate.
Sunday, Dec. 29
*A resident of the 16000 block of Almont Drive reported an assault incident.
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business, according to MCSO.
Monday, Dec. 30
*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a private property traffic collision was reported in a parking lot. Deputies say no injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Technology Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject stole water valves and pipes from a commercial property.
*Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Zephyr Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject stole a backflow valve from a commercial property.
*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and Ledferd Lane where a traffic collision was reported. MCSO reports that a driver sideswiped another vehicle while passing. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
Tuesday, Dec. 31
*A resident of the 13000 block of El Pueblo Blvd. reported that an unknown subject stole a package from a residence.
Wednesday, Jan. 1
*A resident of the 15000 block of El Sobrante Avenue reported that an unknown subject slashed the tires of a vehicle that was parked at a residence.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Ledferd Lane. MCSO reported a driver was stopped for criminal speed traveling 70 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
