Two hurt when car hits tree
Posted
Emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Fountain Hills Boulevard around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11.
Fountain Hills Fire Chief Randy Roberts said a single car struck a palm tree in the median, just north of Shea Boulevard on Fountain Hills Boulevard.
The two occupants sustained injuries and had to be extricated from the heavily damaged vehicle, according to Roberts.
Both patients were transported to a local hospital by ambulances.
Roberts said all Fountain Hills Fire Department units were committed to this incident and Fort McDowell Fire Department provided backup coverage for any additional calls.
