A man and a woman have been arrested as suspects in connection with a series of thefts from the Fountain Hills Target store as well as a Target store in Tempe.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials say the two are believed to be responsible for thefts from the Fountain Hills store on at least five different occasions. The most recent theft included electronic devices valued at more than $3,000.
In working with other agencies it was discovered that the same suspects were allegedly involved in thefts from the Tempe store.
Detectives circulated information on the crimes and the suspects and received word that the two had been identified at a casino in the West Valley. That tip led to the arrest of Wilfred Martin, 28, and Andrea Diaz, 27.
The two are in custody on charges related to the alleged crimes.
