Train conductor volunteers needed to add warmth to the Christmas season.

It’s that time when the trains will be running in the Fountain Hills Community Center for the Christmas Holidays.

All ages love the trains so consider taking a shift – or two- or more- to serve as a “conductor.”

Volunteers are there to make sure things run smoothly - if a train goes off the track, etc.

December hours for the display operation are Monday – Friday 2 – 5 p.m.; Saturday hours are: Dec. 2 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dec. 9 – 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 16 – 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 22 (Friday) - 9 a.m. to noon.

Display will be closed Dec. 23 to 25 and Dec. 30 and 31.

Ken Burling of Ton of Trains loans his trains and lots of time in order to provide this special event.

Volunteers can help keep the tradition alive for children of all ages. Those with an interest may contact Mike Fenzel, mfenzel@fh.az.gov or Heather Ware, hware@fh.az.gov
