FHHS track only has one meet this week, the Ron Smith Classic at Shadow Mountain on March 29.
At the Valley Christian meet, Falcon Porter Sweet qualified for the state tournament in the javelin throw.
Darrean Smith also qualified for the javelin throw at state, but his best launch was at the Chandler Rotary event where he came in 20th for the event.
However, the top Falcon at the Rotary was Madison George who, along with qualifying for state in the 100m and 200m dash events, also qualified for pole vaulting, beating her personal best and setting a new school record with a jump of 12’6’’.
