During its last regular session before summer break the Town Council voted to authorize Town Manager Grady Miller to execute a cooperation agreement with Maricopa County so the Town of Fountain Hills may participate in the Urban County Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG).
The county administers this program for communities with a population less than 50,000. Maricopa County annually receives $2.5 million from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development for this program.
