Town property tax presentation now available online
The Town of Fountain Hills has put together a new presentation covering the ins and outs of the proposed primary property tax, which it will continue to present to various clubs and organizations in the coming weeks leading up to the election.
The presentation was designed as an overview of the tax proposal, including areas of focus such as major expense drivers, contracts with MCSO, town employee staffing, the 10-year financial projection comparing revenue to expenditures, as well as other considerations outside of a primary property tax to address those the expected shortfall.
Also outlined in the presentation is a comparative look at Fountain Hills and other Arizona communities in regards to sales tax rates, municipal tax rates and operating costs per capita.

This 27-page document is intended to serve as a FAQ, from the town’s perspective, regarding the property tax, and is available for perusal on the town’s official website.
To view the presentation, head to fh.az.gov. From the home page, click on the “Vote FH 2018” icon in the bottom right. From there, you can click on “Property Tax Presentation,” which is included in the list of documents on the bottom right.
