Driving around Fountain Hills it is hard not to notice some kind of construction work going on, with most of this related to pedestrian movement and safety.
Sidewalk construction has been ongoing for more than a year, and one of the final legs currently planned in the downtown area is now under construction. This is a relatively short stretch between Saguaro Boulevard and Hamilton Drive. That will complete sidewalks on La Montana between Saguaro and El Lago boulevards.
Part of this project is to include sidewalk and curb repair along Hamilton Drive. It will also include the installation of crosswalks on La Montana at Hamilton and Cambria drives.
