More rain is expected in the coming days and the Town of Fountain Hills encourages residents to ensure they are prepared for storm related incidents.
The town is making sandbags and sand available to town residents behind Fire Station #1 located at 16426 E. Palisades Boulevard starting at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
A total of seven bags will be allowed per residence on a first come, first served basis. Please bring your own shovel and fill bags one-half to two-thirds full.

The town is making sandbags and sand available to town residents behind Fire Station #1 located at 16426 E. Palisades Boulevard starting at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
A total of seven bags will be allowed per residence on a first come, first served basis. Please bring your own shovel and fill bags one-half to two-thirds full.
The bag, when filled should lie fairly flat. Over-filled bags are firm and do not nestle into one another, making for a leaky sandbag wall.
