The Maricopa County Elections Department reported that 6,937 of the 16,031 registered voters in Fountain Hills cast ballots in the all-mail election, for a 43.27 percent turnout.
The council will also vote to reimburse Maricopa County $64,627 received from the sale of street sweepers the town purchased with grant funding from the county.

The Town Council will hold a special meeting prior to its regular session this week to canvass the results of the Nov. 5 bond election for Saguaro Boulevard.
The Maricopa County Elections Department reported that 6,937 of the 16,031 registered voters in Fountain Hills cast ballots in the all-mail election, for a 43.27 percent turnout.
The council will also vote to reimburse Maricopa County $64,627 received from the sale of street sweepers the town purchased with grant funding from the county.
The council will consider authorizing the fire department to apply for a FEMA “assistance to firefighters grant” in the amount of $109,196 for radios. The town would need to provide a 10 percent match, or about $10,900.
The council will also consider adopting an ordinance to amend Chapter 3 of the Town Code related to administration.
The Town Council meets Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall. The special session will be called to order at approximately 6:25 p.m.
