Town Council, developer discuss Park Place project

Developer still needs to sign revised agreement for remaining phases

The Town Council has told Shea Connelly Development, LLC it can have its requested extension on building permits, and the project can be built using 2018 building codes, but the developer still needs to sign a revised development agreement before construction can proceed. The revisions are tied to dates established in the original development agreement.

In explaining his vote on the matter during a special council meeting Oct. 8, Mayor Gerry Friedel said the council has done what it can.

“This gives the interested parties a look at the development agreement,” Friedel said. “If you don’t like it, send it back.”
