This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Rio Verde Community Relations Committee (CRC) plant sale.
The event will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Rio Verde Community Center parking lot.
Rio Verde residents are invited to purchase beautiful healthy plants to renew their garden for the season.
As in the past CRC is teaming with Verde Valley Nursery. The sale will include both annual and perennial flowers as well as vegetables, herbs, cacti, succulents, bushes, potting soil, cactus mix and more including popular color bowls and hanging baskets.
This year the sale inventory also includes four native trees - Mesquite, Acacia, Palo Verde and Texas Ebony. The cost of trees includes delivery, planting and irrigation by Verde Valley Nursery.
James Roth, Rio Verde resident and master gardener, will be on hand the day of the sale to discuss raised bed and container vegetable gardening.
