The deadline for reservations for the April 29 Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce annual gala is 5 p.m. Friday, April 18.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Eagle Mountain Golf Club. The theme is Hawaiian luau casual.

The price is $65 for a single or $120 for a couple. Sponsorships also are available for purchase.

Registration is open online at fountainhillschamber.com. The event is not limited to Chamber members.

Entertainment will include Hawaiian dancers and awarding fun prizes as “The Most Beautiful Wahine” and “Ugliest Hawaiian Shirt.”

The awards ceremony will spotlight the Business Person of the Year. Candidates are Phyliss Kern, Dan Margolis and David Racich.

Presentation of other awards, such as Chamber Volunteer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Customer Service Award, will take place. Mayor Linda Kavanagh will present her Mayor’s Award. The tourism department will announce its selection for tourism award. A Teacher of the Year also will be honored.
