Think positive

Everything that disappoints, discourages and exhausts us about politics is evident in the campaign for Town Council by Lina Bellenir.

Absent from her rhetoric so far (per public statements she has made at various forums and in her responses in the paper)? Cooperation, respect for the work and humility.

Painfully present? Baseless finger pointing, trite solutions, self-promotion and apparent unhappiness with our community.

Lina’s plan to attach a council member to an unsuspecting town staffer is highly inappropriate, disruptive and counterproductive. Several of her ideas belie her stated preferences for limited government.

Serious long-term consideration and planning for hopeful and helpful ideas -- without looking for credit -- would be appreciated in someone who wants to serve our town. Please look at our candidates who have more positive ideas.
