Recently the Fountain Hills Theater had to move costumes from a space which they have occupied for 12 years to a new facility on Enterprise Drive.
The theater has literally thousands of costume pieces which needed to be organized and moved. This gargantuan task was accomplished with the help of a large number of volunteers. The pre- and post-organization fell on the shoulders of Patricia and Travis Tonzi, who spent many days at this task.
Thank you to Boeing, NCL, Fountain Hills Women’s Club and FHT Board of Directors for the move itself. Rob and Debbie Deadrick of Boeing rented a U Haul truck for the move besides obtaining Boeing volunteers.

Suzu Henderson organized the NCL group of mothers and daughters to lend a hand. Paul and Bobbi Downing single-handedly demolished a small stage and wall in the new space and then paid for a U Haul truck to cart it away. Ione Bushman, our queen of volunteers, managed to secure the services of the FH Women’s Club to help.
Mike Archambault, a longtime supporter of the theater, rearranged his schedule to remove and then reassemble 25 feet of shelving at no cost to the theater so that all of our shoes and boots could have a home.
Brian Schader, FHT Board member, helped with demolition and then construction of new racks. Kiera Allen, the FHT Controller, purchased all the shelving and dozens of plastic crates for the new shop. The move was accomplished with the help and generosity of numerous volunteers for which the theater is eternally grateful. It is great to be a member of the town of Fountain Hills where people are eager and willing to help.
