“Lewis and Clark” were top-billed vaudevillians for more than 40 years. Now they aren’t even speaking.
When CBS requests them for a “History of Comedy” special, a grudging reunion brings the two back together one last time.
Starring Fountain Hills Theater artistic directors Ross Collins and Peter J. Hill, Neil Simon’s comedy hilariously explores the memories and laughs of a lifelong relationship.
FHT is delighted to have their artistic directors play these iconic roles. Since the two first appeared on stage in “Anything Goes” at the A La Carte Players in the 1980s, Hill and Collins have worked together for close to 40 years, according to a press release.
“The Sunshine Boys” is presented through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals and is directed by Noel Irick.
“The Sunshine Boys” will play until Sunday, June 29. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. All performances take place in the Ross Collins Playhouse at Fountain Hills Theater, 11445 N Saguaro Blvd.
