The imaginary property tax talking point in Fountain Hills

OPINION — “Vote no on primary property tax” is the innuendo of one of the nasty orange and blue ROT signs in our town. As you drive and walk around town, you will see political signs implying that their listed candidates are against a primary property tax.

Yet nobody is campaigning for a primary property tax! All six of the town council candidates are against a primary property tax. Don't be confused by the ROT PAC signs. They — ROT — and the current Friedel administration, tend to mislead. So, do not be misled. This town has never had a primary property tax. There have been past ballot measures to introduce a primary property tax. They have all failed.
