The article on the sale of the “Historic FH building sale” had a number of errors, not the least of which was the wrong street address.
The building was not one of the original McCulloch Properties commercial properties. It was built by Mathew J. Cuomo ergo the name COPLAZ I. Mr. Cuomo also built the building occupied by Mr. G’s Interiors, COPLAZ II, and a third building on the Avenue of the Fountains, COPLAZ III, which was occupied by Millard’s restaurant.
My wife and I purchased the COPLAZ I building in 1976 and operated both Dave Dawkins Realty and Valley Land Company at that location, along with other locations, until our retirement, at which time we sold the building to a client provided by Mr. Caldwell.

At no time was I ever a “salesman” for McCulloch Properties or any other McCulloch entity. My relationship with the McCulloch organization was contractual as an outside Broker and predated the opening of Fountain Hills by several years.
In conjunction with Lorne Pratt and Pratt Properties, we provided all sales and marketing of Goldfield Ranch until the sale of Pratt Properties assets to MCO.
