The Desert Belle dinner cruise is a common excursion for many in the area. As the late afternoon sun ignited the sky with pink and orange, the deep crystal blue water of the lake was filled with Mallards, Western Grebes and a variety of ducks and American Coot.
A buffet of pulled pork, chicken, mac-and-cheese and mixed vegetables was served, prepared by Patriot Pit BBQ Chef Chris Antoniou.
Desert Belle Captain John skillfully navigated the vessel close to the southern cliffs so all aboard could view the geologic faults, erosions and gnarly crevices up close.
The cruise lasted 1 1/2 hours. The Club’s Desert Belle Dinner Cruise served to enhance the bonds of camaraderie among members’ families and friends and will be an event to remember for every participant, the release stated.
