The Box Meat Shop in Fountain Hills is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year.
First opening in 2021, the shop at 17100 E. Shea Blvd. sells a variety of meats, including grass-fed beef, grain fed beef, pork, sausages, chicken, seafood, elk, and bison. Nearly everything The Box Meat Shop sells is fresh. Founder Luis Pozzolo said that he prides himself on the quality of his meats.
“We don’t use chemicals, or ink, or gas,” Pozzolo said. “We get our product from good farms that we know are certified natural. So with beef, pork and chicken, everything we bring in for those three categories is fresh. We also bring a lot of good quality seafood from around Latin America, Central America and the U.S.”
