Thanks to staff

Last week, at the annual Fountain Hills volunteer celebration, a number of our finest citizens were justly lauded with praise and thanks. These folks, whose talents and giving spirit are truly inspirational, deserved every accolade bestowed upon them. These volunteers are what make Fountain Hills a special place to live.

Equally deserving of high praise and thanks are the many town staff members who facilitate, organize and coordinate the activities of these volunteers. Under the talented guidance and coordination of Heather Ware, the volunteer program in Fountain Hills is an enormous success.

As chairman of The Board of Adjustment, over the past few years I have been introduced to many staff members who richly deserve public recognition. To Paul Mood (Director of Developmental Services) whose intelligence and sense of humor are a real asset for the town, to Janice Baxter (executive assistant) who consistently exhibits extraordinary competence and caring, to Bob Rodgers (senior planner) who is a rare blend of expertise, humility and good humor and to all the folks in Community Development we say thank you.

You are the brightest and the best. Your help, knowledge and guidance are the true keys in making volunteers’ efforts for Fountain Hills Community Development arena so productive and successful.
