Ted Allison

Ted Allison, 86, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018. Ted was born March 3, 1932, in Sioux City, Iowa. Ted married his wife, Beverly, in 1952 and shared 64 years of marriage.

He was an owner of Hawkeye Corrugated Box Company of Cedar Falls, Iowa, from 1967 until his retirement in 1984. Ted and Beverly moved to Rio Verde, Ariz., in 1984, where Ted found his second calling as a real estate agent, selling lots and homes for Rio Verde Development, Inc.

Ted enjoyed his retirement years playing golf, tennis, fishing, boating and developing numerous friendships in the Rio Verde community.

Ted is survived by his three children: Jeff (Debbie), Jody (Larry), Jim (Candie), as well as six grandchildren; Josh, Jayme, Casey, Carly, Kylie and Samantha and four great grandchildren; Aubrey, Lexi, Abigail and Miles.

Ted will be remembered for his outgoing personality, thoughtful nature and concern for others, along with his great sense of humor.

A memorial service will be held at the Community Church of the Verdes on Thursday, April 5, at 12 noon.
