A few weeks ago I placed an ad that ran two consecutive Wednesdays.

The ad announced a high-end moving sale —and listed several items such as bedroom sets, living room furniture, household items, etc.

About that time, Cox incorrectly switched my phone lines — and numbers. When an interested party called to inquire about an item, the “voice” on the other end incorrectly stated my number was no longer in service. Instead of providing a recording of the temporary number or forwarding the call – both acceptable options – the call abruptly ended.

In case you were one of those who called, my number is 480-836-1299 — many of the items are still available — the result of the errors on Cox’s end – and my number is in service.

Ahhhh, technology!
