Before the Revolutionary War, John Adams wrote, “Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have a right, from the frame of their nature, to knowledge, as their great Creator, who does nothing in vain, has given them understandings, and a desire to know…”
These words offer advice which was true then and which remains prudent advice for the present. True knowledge and understanding can help us to carefully consider the challenges facing our nation and make the needed decisions to save it and us from higher taxes, deficit spending, eroding freedoms and dependency upon a government that is too big.
On Tuesday evening, Aug. 20, Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party offers another opportunity to participate in the pursuit of knowledge and our civic duty.

On Tuesday evening, Aug. 20, Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party offers another opportunity to participate in the pursuit of knowledge and our civic duty.
Our featured guest will be Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery, a dedicated public servant who always provides spirited and enthusiastic comments and discussion about current issues in our county and state.
We will also be showing a preview of They Come To America II, a film by Dennis Michael Lynch, which tells the frightening, but real, story of illegal immigration. Get the facts, not just the soundbites, about this timely, critical issue.
Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party is pleased to invite you to this program on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 6:30 p.m. (6:15 for cookies and conversation) at Fountain Hills School District Learning Center. All interested parties are welcome to attend what promises to be a great opportunity to learn and share thoughts with people who care about the future of our nation. Admission is free, but donations to cover expenses are much appreciated.
Join your neighbors, bring a friend, and come to the tea party.
