Recently we accidentally found the new Twisted Rose in Scottsdale (on Northsight), a wine and beer restaurant and bar, and we had lunch there. It had just opened up a few weeks ago.
They have a great menu selection and the staff was very friendly. We ordered some wine to go with our lunch. As we were talking with the waiter we mentioned that we were from Fountain Hills.
Then we found out that they are associated with the Casavino Custom Winery here in town. The wine we were drinking was from our town winery. The owner of the winery happened to be there, so we met him.

They have a great menu selection and the staff was very friendly. We ordered some wine to go with our lunch. As we were talking with the waiter we mentioned that we were from Fountain Hills.
Then we found out that they are associated with the Casavino Custom Winery here in town. The wine we were drinking was from our town winery. The owner of the winery happened to be there, so we met him.
As we have been here since 1999, we hate to admit that we have never been to the Casavino Winery but knew it is there as we have driven past it many times.
We would like to take this opportunity to pass this great place on to you along with the Twisted Rose, which also has specialties and a happy hour. Both of these will now be on our list. The winery is at 12005 N. Saguaro Blvd., suite 101.
