Surprised

I was surprised when I read that mayoral candidate Ginny Dickey had received the endorsement of the pro-abortion group Arizona List. Why is an abortion activist group involved in a local election? My surprise then rose to concern after reading that the group also donated a sizable amount, $500, to Dickey’s mayoral campaign.

Since the pro-choice Arizona List is advising their followers to vote for Ginny Dickey, I thought it only fair that pro-life voters be informed of Dickey’s pro-abortion position. And because political action groups, such as Arizona List, often spend their money to advance their position, I wonder what they expect Ginny Dickey to do as mayor?

It is also interesting that the owner of the local marijuana dispensary donated $1,000 to Dickey’s campaign; clearly more than a token donation.
