By now, all Fountain Hills residents should have received the information pamphlet and sample ballot from the town, as well as the postcards announcing public meetings where unbiased information will be put forth.

I strongly encourage every resident registered voter to be informed about the primary property tax before voting. The next town presentation is Monday, April 30, at 3 p.m.

I strongly encourage every resident registered voter to be informed about the primary property tax before voting. The next town presentation is Monday, April 30, at 3 p.m.

For those who cannot attend this presentation, reliable, unbiased information can be gained online at the town’s website. The voter information pamphlet and sample ballot contains easy to read information and should be read before voting. Additional valuable information can be found at savefh.com.

I have studied the issue and I strongly support a yes vote on May 15, or earlier if voting by mail. After studying the issues, I believe you too will be convinced that this primary property tax is needed now, not later. We cannot grow our way out of this situation in the short term. In the long term, when we do grow, your share of the tax will decrease.

Please join me and many others (such as the mayor, both mayoral candidates, all council members, all former mayors and many past council members) in voting yes.
