I want to send a huge thank you to the staff at Sunrise Assisted Living as well as let others in town know how wonderful they are.
My mother has been in their care for over four years now and I couldn’t imagine this past four years without them. My mom is not easy to care for with her Alzheimer’s and mood swings. They are so caring and I can tell they truly love my mom. They treat her like one of their own family. It’s a small place and I think that’s why it’s more like an extension of our own family now.
They are quick to let me know if mom’s not feeling well, when I need to take her to the doctor, and they keep her up on her shots by having nurses come to the home so I don’t have to take her out. They have someone come in to give her haircuts, a podiatrist goes there regularly and they do everything they can to make life easier for her and myself.

My letter today was not solicited by them, I just feel so blessed to have found them and maybe this will help someone else in need. The decision to place a loved one outside the home is difficult enough.
