Whether a regular at Tuesday Bingo or a first time player, all are invited to Summer Bingo Bonanza. Beginning Tuesday, June 4, a light lunch will be served before the games begin. Senior Services, Inc. (SSI) is providing funding for the munchies so that players are able to spend more time out of the summer heat enjoying bingo in the “cool” Community Center.

JoAnna Hernan, Bingo Coordinator, is organizing the summer fun by having a theme for each Tuesday event. June 4 will be a “Trip to Italy” with pizza as the main snack. Admission to bingo is any time after 11:30a.m. The snack lunch will be served at 12:45 p.m. and play begins at 1:30 p.m. A total of 13 games are played during the afternoon with an intermission after the sixth game. The games typically end between 3:30 and 4 p.m.

An admission of $5 gives each player five bingo cards. More cards may be purchased for $1 apiece, and there is a “Fast Cash” game for an additional $1. Bingo is open to the public. There is no pre-registration, but those with questions may contact the Community Center at 480-816-5200.
