With all the bios, commentary, letters, speeches, debates, endorsements, etc., it eventually becomes perfectly clear: For this election, there are far more questions than any one or any combination of candidates have answers! So, how to choose?
I offer these suggestions.
For mayor, if making a choice solely based on passion, dedication and good intentions, I would almost certainly choose Ginny. However, it seems to me the weight of that responsibility is far better served by the current, in-office experience and long-term, broad-based business background of Cecil Yates.

For his incomparable 30-plus years of dedicated service, active involvement and in-depth knowledge of our community and how it works (or doesn’t); Mike Scharnow.
For new blood, commitment to community and a widely divergent background of experience, expertise and education unique from all other candidates; David Spelich.
