A local Republican asked The Times what Independent voters believe in. I can only speak for myself: Principle over party; free and fair elections; Western civilization and multipartisan civility.
I respect principled Conservatives who demonstrate these ideals, including but not limited to Recorder Richer; County Chairman Hickman; County Supervisors Galvin, Sellers, and Gates; Mesa Mayor Giles; Rusty Bowers; Cindy McCain and former Town Councilmember Scharnow.
We truly live in strange times when a Progressive Independent treats patriotic Arizona Conservatives with more deference than the Arizona GOP is willing to.
