It is time for the Town of Fountain Hills’ annual Activities and Volunteer Expo, which will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Community Center.

This event will showcase the various programs, support groups, classes and special presentations offered throughout the year by the Activity Center. Attendees will have an opportunity to interact and mingle directly with activity group coordinators, ask questions, and learn about the variety of programs.

The event will also host approximately 40 organizations and clubs including the faith community. There will be tables with information as well as representatives ready to answer questions about their activity or organization.

This event is free and open to the public to come and learn about the many volunteer opportunities available here in Fountain Hills. All ages are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.

This event provides an opportunity for residents to renew their Activity Center membership or join for the first time. Membership entitles one to attend all activities presented by the Activity Center.

Membership is on a calendar year basis. The fee is $20 for Fountain Hills residents and winter visitors, and is $30 for non-residents (The Verdes, Scottsdale, Mesa, etcetera). Membership is open to all adults 18 years of age and older.
