Stephen Roland Archambault passed away in his sleep, joining his parents and sister, on July 28, 2014.
He was born June 20, 1948 in Woonsocket, R.I. to Roland E. Archambault and Precille M. Archambault.
Handicapped from birth, Steve struggled throughout his life but managed to live on his own terms. Now he is free of his handicaps and is in a better place.
Having never married, he is survived by his siblings, Robert E. Archambault of El Mirage, Ariz., Michael L. and wife, Charla J. Archambault, of Fountain Hills, Joan L. Archambault of Fountain Hills, Diane Kurtz and husband, Ken, of Coldwater, Mich., and Marvin Mayson (Marie’s husband) of Teague, Texas. He also has many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews who will miss his humor.
A viewing at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary for friends and family will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1. A private burial at Paradise Memorial Gardens on Shea Blvd. will follow.
