Stanislaw (Stanley) J. Burzynski of Fountain Hills, and formerly of Milwaukee, Wis.; passed away on Oct. 17, 2016 in Scottsdale at the age of 74.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, 10755 North 124th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona.
Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix.
Stan was born in Poland to Walter and Agata (Holubecki) Burzynski on July 22, 1942. He immigrated to the United States in 1950. He married Annette Serwinski on Aug. 20, 1988 in Milwaukee, Wis. He was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.
Three words that sum up his life, “Go Pack Go!”
He is preceded in death by members of his immediate family including his parents, Walter and Agata; and his sisters, Francis, Cecilia and, Irene.
He is survived by Annette (his spouse of 28 years); Casimir (his brother); Gregory (his son) and many family members and friends.
