Today the federal government is the nation’s largest creditor, debtor, lender, employer, consumer, grantor, property owner, tenant, insurer, health care provider and pension guarantor. Does that sound like limited government to you?

With skyrocketing taxes, debt, spending and mandates, unconstitutional international agreements, IRS, EPA, NSA, plus others used as political weapons and the leftists, abuse of executive orders and judicial activism to enact a liberal agenda on climate change, amnesty and health care.

It’s a growing cancer inside our federal government and it can’t be cured by Washington because Washington is the cause of the disease. It would take a miracle for the House, Senate and White House to agree, curbing their power.

It’s a growing cancer inside our federal government and it can’t be cured by Washington because Washington is the cause of the disease. It would take a miracle for the House, Senate and White House to agree, curbing their power.

It’s ironic our Founding Fathers were smart enough and prophetic, fearing federal government could become tyrannical in the future and placed Article V in the Constitution where “we the people” bypass gridlock in Washington threatening our liberty and freedoms.

The solution is “convention of states” resolutions must pass in 34 state legislatures, calling for Article V Convention proposing amendments that limit authority and jurisdiction of federal government. Once approved, Congress cannot meddle in it.

This limits of power by federal government such as term limits, balanced budget amendment and states power to override federal mandates.

America has a lawless president who is trampling all over the Constitution in order to “fundamentally transform” America into a second-rate socialist state. We have a weak and divided Congress that’s either unwilling or unable to check and balance the lawlessness of the Executive Branch and have an unpredictable Supreme Court that’s increasingly more likely to rule what is “politically correct” rather than what is constitutional.

Americans have allowed our federal government to gain too much power and control. It’s time to once again stand up, regaining control of our destiny.
